PMP® Certification Bootcamp

The Project Management Professional (PMP)® is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers worldwide.

In this 4-day in-person PMP® Certification Bootcamp course, you will learn the best practices, tools, and techniques that successful project managers use every day. This course includes a combination of lecture, hands-on activities, and practice questions. A course workbook is provided to class participants.

Professional Development Units (PDUs): 35 PDUs

This course is designed for those interested in passing the Project Management Professional (PMP)® examination. However, many students take this course to learn the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) framework of best practices for managing projects. This is the international gold standard tools and techniques for planning, executing, and controlling projects.

The PMP® Certification Bootcamp is based on the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) 6th Edition standards and processes. PMBOK is the authoritative source for project management best practices and is sponsored by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The material covered in this course is specifically designed to prepare you to pass PMI’s newly updated (2018) PMP® exam.

Certified PMP® project managers typically complete more of their projects on time, on budget, and deliver on project requirements than non-certified project managers (Pulse of the Profession® study, PMI, 2015). Additionally, PMP® certified Project Managers on average earn over 20% more than those without the certification.

There are no formal prerequisites to attend this course. However, many students who attend typically have one of the following:

  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
  • 7,500 hours leading and directing projects
  • 35 hours of project management education

  • Four-year degree
  • 4,500 hours leading and directing projects
  • 35 hours of project management education
